Passionate about staff recruitment
Confidence among employers has soared to its highest level in a year reflecting renewed optimism in both short term and long term hiring intentions, according to the REC (Recruitment and Employment Confederation). Their survey, released on 18 May 2011, showed a major shift in employers’attitudes and resulted in 52% saying that they are planning to hire new staff over the next 12 months.

Brooklands based recruitment consultancy Rainford Berry has lately seen an increase in demand for its services and has itself expanded to help meet this growth. The company recruits in three sectors – accountancy, sales and project management. Seasoned consultant Aimee Smith has joined the team and will use all of her experience to help companies that are looking to secure sales staff of real ability and drive.

Rainford Berry’s Managing Director, Ian Berry said “We are delighted to welcome Aimee on board, she has great experience in helping companies recruit true sales professionals and will be a valuable addition to our team.”

The consultancy has clients ranging from Small and Medium Sized Enterprises to household name companies and charities. Each recruitment assignment is treated as an individual campaign with a consultant and resourcer working together. A detailed brief is taken from the hiring company, the vacancy marketed and researched widely, applicants interviewed face to face and then a qualified shortlist presented. Rainford Berry then works with the client and candidates through the interview, feedback exchange and offer process to help ensure that the best person is secured.

As Aimee Smith says, “Increased demand for recruitment services must be met with the same passion and process as before. Companies are not just looking to increase headcount, but are keen to recruit real stars that can help them grow in the upturn.”
